JOB PROFILE:

We are looking for experienced Operators for our client, a leading global automotive company manufacturing engine cooling and sealing systems for automotive and industrial applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate Sheet Metal Laser Cutting, Turret Punching and CNC Bending Machines.
• Set and operate machines as per production requirements and work instructions.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and specifications.
• Perform basic machine setting, tool changing and parameter adjustments.
• Ensure components are produced as per required quality and dimensional standards.
• Perform in-process inspection using Vernier, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain production targets, quality standards and minimum rejection.
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs and work instructions.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping and discipline at the workplace.
• Identify and report machine, quality or process-related issues to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams for smooth production.

MACHINES / PROCESS EXPERIENCE:

• Laser Cutting Machine
• CNC Turret Punching Machine
• CNC Bending / Press Brake Machine
• Sheet Metal Fabrication

EDUCATION:

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Fitter / Sheet Metal / relevant technical qualification

EXPERIENCE:

2+ Years of relevant experience in Sheet Metal / Automotive / Auto Component Manufacturing.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Good knowledge of Sheet Metal processes
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings
• Knowledge of measuring instruments
• Machine operating and setting experience
• Knowledge of 5S and shop-floor safety
• Willingness to work in shifts
