### 🔹 About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on and result-oriented **Production Manager** to take complete responsibility for the manufacturing process of artificial flowers and decorative products.
The ideal candidate should be strong in **production planning, product costing, MS Excel, team management and quick decision-making**, with the ability to independently handle critical shop-floor situations and ensure timely production with minimum wastage.
### 🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute **daily, weekly and monthly production targets** as per orders and despatch schedules.
* Lead and manage **5 Production Supervisors and approximately 80 workers**.
* Allocate manpower across cutting, moulding, shaping, dyeing, assembly, finishing and packing processes.
* Monitor production against targets and ensure **on-time completion of orders**.
* Take quick decisions during rush orders, seasonal workload, manpower shortages and production pressure.
* Prepare accurate **product-wise costing**, including material, labour, overheads, wastage and profit margins.
* Maintain **BOMs, costing sheets and updated material rates** in coordination with Purchase and Accounts.
* Control raw material wastage and improve productivity and cost efficiency.
* Maintain excellent **MS Excel and MIS reports** for production, output vs target, worker productivity, line efficiency and wastage.
* Ensure product quality through first-piece approval, process checks and final inspection.
* Identify root causes of quality issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
* Coordinate with **Purchase, Store, Maintenance, QC and Despatch** departments.
* Maintain discipline, attendance, housekeeping, 5S and safety on the production floor.
* Handle worker grievances, absenteeism and manpower deployment without affecting production.
* Present daily production performance and operational issues to management.
### 🔹 Candidate Requirements
* Graduate in any discipline.
* **3–5 years of relevant manufacturing production experience.**
* Experience managing **80+ workers through supervisors / line leaders**.
* Strong knowledge of **production planning, product costing and MS Excel**.
* Must be capable of preparing costing for existing and new products accurately and quickly.
* Ability to work under heavy seasonal workload and take **fast, practical decisions independently**.
* Strong problem-solving skills related to material, manpower, quality, machines and delivery.
* Gujarati and Hindi mandatory; basic English for reports and communication.
* Hands-on, disciplined, result-oriented and capable of managing the production floor independently.
